A cursory listen of Morokh's debut LP can only do so much as to dub the Russians as "just another good" metalcore outfit, but repeated orbits around The Unholy Masquerade, will reveal a band that knows to write brutal, ever relevant songs that blend the best from black metal, groove metal and hardcore. First half rips; the second rehashes the first, without noticeable drop in quality, due to smooth flow and unbelievable sound work.
