3.0 good | FrozenVain | May 22nd 17 | Even though both tracks featured here contains a lot of good riffs and competent
songwriting, I still find it hard to truly enjoy this stripped down and home-brewed
approach. Every single pike feels incomplete, which I understand is a part of the appeal,
but it doesn't really work for me. I would love to hear this being covered by a full band
with crisp production. This is obviously what Buckethead wants and loves doing but I wish
he would release something that isn't completely disposable, which I consider most of his
pikes to be. Still givin' it a 3/5 because there are some damn sweet licks and solos to
be found here. This also gets fairly emotionally powerful at points.

4.5 superb | leycec | May 23rd 16 | Terrible name. Fantastic pike. ("Buildor"? What in the three greasy layers of KFC-bred factory mutant chicken hells is "Buildor"? Actually, I don't want to know.) Buckethead can do no riffmaestro wrong on the extended studio workout jam. This pike is only extended studio workout jams. Ergo, it is not wrong. Indeed, it's possibly his only essential work since "Shapeless" (2015). We can only hope for more shapeless buildors and less misshapen Halloweens. Less is more, Buckethead. Buildor lives!

4.5 superb | freedomofspeechnoway | February 28th 16 | This is one of those pikes where he nails it. I love that it's just two 15 minute songs that are absolutely perfect. People who wonder which of his albums are worth listening to should give this one a go.
