4.6 superb | Thompson D. Gerhart STAFF | May 28th 17 | "Unintelligible" is this year's "Cockroach King" for me - memorable, spastic, and full of flawlessly executed threads that would utterly collapse without total mastery behind them.

4.5 superb | Friday13th | November 30th 18 | Holy shrimp guys. Put down your Haken and Leprous albums and listen to this avant-garde, to the point of even microtonal, prog masterpiece.

0.0 | I have an awful memory of a high school ex sitting on my baby blue vinyl of The Dusk In Us lmao | July 10th 17 | Really great modern (avant?)prog rock album. Compared to the majority of the genre today, I'd say there is more emphasis on songwriting here, and the wankier sections are a bit more tasteful. The album has a secondary 'math rock' tag on rym, not sure how appropriate that is though. The vocals are quite good but never steal the show, and are a lot less polarizing when compared to seemingly all prog vocals. The bass and drums are tight af and the guitar tones sound pretty original. Highly recommended to all the prog boys and girls. 4.2/5

4.5 superb | Toondude | May 26th 17 | It's almost as if Animals as Leaders fused with Thank You Scientist and Porcupine Tree. It's technically brilliant, visceral, and weird as fuck. I love it.
