Gaslamp Killer's approach to production paints often mystical, other times quite beautiful image, all wrapped in a lovely sheet of crisp beats and neat samples. It does generally give off more of a mixtape vibe, as the songs sometimes don't seem to have any rhyme or reason to be set up in this particular tracklist. But to heck with rhyme or reason.
