Pretty flat and tepid for Dead Congregation; brevity is this EP's saving grace.

I wasn't huge of Dead Congregation's last album because I'm not that huge on Dead Congregation in general. The homogenous pummeling take on dm grows tiring pretty quickly. But their doom-y foray here is really nice. Wrapped into a great 13-minute package, the EP is just enough DC without it overstaying it's welcome. [3.3]
