4.0 excellent | juiceviaorange | October 24th 16 | Another more than solid, consistent effort from KD. It always bums me out that he can't gain much traction in the popularity department, even being so close with acts like Brand New and Manchester Orchestra. Some day he'll get the recognition he deserves I hope. In the meantime, I hope he keeps pumping out great albums.

4.0 excellent | sputn1k | October 28th 16 | It always sounds like KD puts a ton of effort into these albums. The lyrics and musical arrangements are great. As juice said, I don't know why it is so hard for him to become more popular. I'm definitely enjoying this.

3.5 great | chaywa | October 25th 16 | In many ways, KD reminds me of Frank Turner as he started working with The Sleeping Souls as a main band more in that something isn't quite in sync between the solo acoustic styles of the lead singer and the desire to add depth through the production and additional elements which the Goddamn Band provide, resulting in something a little muddled at times, even if it's lyrically on point. rBit of a slow start, but Freddie Gray Blues through Both Ways is some of KD's best stuff in a while. Still think Brothers Blood is his best overall album though.
