Pods And Gods would have to be NOFX's most unheard of song in the humongous collection of unheard of NOFX songs. This EP was only released on vinyl and on the "45 or 46 songs..." collection by the band. But you can also get it online (iTunes, Napster, P2P). Anyway, it's a sweet song. It starts off all techno and smoothly transitions into a cool rock song about aliens coming in from pods that got launched from space. The Guitar is cool through out. I think, musically, this is one of the top-ten NOFX songs. It's really funky. Which is one of those things that you absolutley never see with NOFX. THis song also makes them sound like professional musicians which says a lot. I'm a HUGE NOFX fan, but I feel they don't try enough. This track shows the effort that they never gave. Too bad it's the rarest thing since the Don't Call Me White EP. They only made 5,000 of those. Not only do you get "Pods And Gods" but also, "What's The Matter With Parents Today". Another classic song by NOFX about the way parents treat their kids in the 90's over the 80's. Overall this is a good addition to anyone's NOFX collection.
