Review Summary: Superjoint try to recapture old crossover glory. They also get a bit caught up in the gears of the distraction along the way.

Superjoint is a band i hold near to my heart. They, no matter who is in the band always show complete and total passion towards the music they make, albeit venom esque black metal homages or pure hardcore punk. But now the band is a little bit disjointed, with a third bassist, who is the least memorable one. He is not bad, but he is not les claypool either, that's for sure. I wish they would have just kept hank iii but that is just minor. The true highlights of this album are Jimmy bower and phil anselmo. Love him or hate him he is talented, and he sound angrier than ever this album, which he probably is angrier than ever because of his own doings, not to mention bower is on fire as well.

I am not gonna go total track by track on this album because for the most part it is the same superjoint greatness, but more to the hardcore punk side of the band as opposed to the black metal esque side of things. Kind of samey but still not bad. But there are a few songs worth noting.

One, for its lyrical stance is burning the blanket. It reminds me strongly of something that came off of the album by phil anselmo and the illegals ¨walk through exits only¨, great. But the lyrics are to note here. Phil screaming about SJWs is something i did not expect phil to know or care about, but it's put into perspective due to what happened at dimebash.

Another song I want to talk about is ¨Clickbait¨ another title you would never expect to see phil talk about. But musically it is more of the hardcore punk madness, and the lyrical subject is why i wanted to bring this up.

¨Asshole¨ is my favorite song on the album. I am not sure why, but if you listen to it i'm sure you will think so too. I'm not exactly sure why though, it just works for some reason.

The last song I wanted to talk about is ¨Receiving no answer to the knock¨. The single biggest musical departure on the album, in length and style. I have a feeling in a few years this will be brought up often as one of the greats, but I just think it is kind of cool. It is definitely better than the tracks i did not mention, although those tracks are good as well, just more of the same.

Overall you won't be disappointed, but it's not the best album they ever made either, it won't top your list but it's more worth your money than the new metallica, and even that is a good album.

This is not a necessary paragraph at all, it looks a bit unprofessional.

From what i can tell, you also seem to alternate between naming songs without caps (" burning the blanket") and then with caps ("Clickbait"). This isn't recommended, common practice is capitalizing songs and using "".

'albeit' in the second sentence should be simply be 'be it', also 'Venom-esque' instead of 'venom esque'.

No 'bit' required after 'little' in the third sentence.

'he is not les claypool either'. Change to 'he is no Les Claypool either'.

I was gonna go through all the mistakes but I gave up after this sentence as there were too many to even bother correcting

k, you're obviously into some cool stuff, and you seem to understand the confluence of different influences which make this band unique.

Given the level of intellect required to reach the understanding which you have, I can only attribute discriptioins such as the following to outright laziness:

{¨Asshole¨ is my favorite song on the album. I am not sure why, but if you listen to it i'm sure you will think so too. I'm not exactly sure why though, it just works for some reason.}

Ask yourself, "What am I trying to communicate to the reader here?".

If you are passionate enough about an album to write an entire review, you owe it to the people you expect to take interest in your opinions, let alone the musicians, to actually have SOMETHING to say.

The punctuation, grammar and other things will come with time as you write, however if you cannot find a way to communicate the passion which you have for an album, you're wasting your own time, as well as everyone else's.
