First, let’s get the obligatory Everly Brothers comparison out of the way . . . The Cactus Blossoms’ vocal harmonies are as dreamy as any ever sung by the Everly Brothers. This album has all the makings of a cover band, but the harmonies are so sweet and the songwriting too good. The Cactus Blossoms avoid being just another country copy and carve out a niche of their own.
