Pretty solid Latin-influenced house EP from funky house's most recognizable duo. It's definitely not on the level of their first couple of full-lengths, and it certainly isn't anything you haven't heard already, but it's interesting to this phase of their development, and you can hear on songs like the opener "Paradise" where they would eventually take it. More or less, Summer Daze is just Basement Jaxx in the raw, with a still-developing sound put together on a very serviceable and enjoyable Latin house EP.
