David Tibet is a great singer, but I've always thought his voice fits better on harder and heavier sounding music. And while Aleph At Hallucinatory Mountain was more like Tibet singing for a doom metal band, Horsey sounds like a logical result of his neo-folk outputs combined with much heavier instruments. Meaning, it's stunningly unique and bone-chillingly badass. It also has Tibet's best vocal performance ever captured imo.
