Some of the most uninspiring music I've ever been asked to look into. The cleans are tweaked to death, and as whiney as anything I've ever heard. The guitar is boring. The lyrics say stuff but nothing worth noting or hearing. Ugh, its pretty terrible to be honest.

There isn't anything about the material worthwhile, as this melodically-driven metal sound has been done before countless times. The vocals on Light the Fire are as ugly on the inside as they appear on the outside, and the instrumental work is so gosh darn tame that it suddenly becomes less difficult to pour hot coffee into your ears.

My only problem with the album is that it's horribly generic. Otherwise the vocals are good, and the band does manage to carry a nice heavy/melodic mix from time to time. However it's something we've all heard before, and much better.

This is an excellent debut. This album I think is underrated. The transition of songs ranging from heavy metal, to a more mellow and acoustic rock songs, is sweet. The guitar is great, with some amazing riffing in some parts, the acoustic parts are nice too. The vocals are definitely the highlight of this album. His screaming is just insanely high and his lower screams are brutal, but not like death metal growling. His cleans are ever so present being my favorite part about this album. It's just so unique and emotional. Also the cleans sound quite different from song to song. The cleans in Light the Fire sound way different than songs like Tranquilized and Needed You More. The songs I would recommend are: Light The Fire, Tranquilized, Needed You More, Falling, and Paper Thin. I like all the other songs though. Amazing start for this band.
