I definitely think Grym Reap was an underrated rapper, and I like the simple production on
here (it's sort of like the third and fourth Cypress Hill albums, which are themselves quite
underrated.) The major issue here is a common one for unnoticed rap albums - it's way too
fucking long. Think about how tight the first Nas album was: it was like 9 songs, then it
was done. But yeah, once you finally do absorb all these tracks, they're all pretty good.
The track list is just a bit overwhelming.
PS- what's the deal with "False Things Must Perish" being almost exactly the same track as
"Getting High" by ODB? Granted it sounds way better here, but God, that's just lazy.
