Sometimes cohesive isn't the best thing to be. Still entertaining by metal standards, but the most boring PD release yet in terms of songwriting. On a few listen-throughs, I have no favorite tracks and feel no desire to spin this again.

A return to the synth-driven rock sound of Purgatory, and a much more wholely cohesive sound, akin to Sex Offender. The synths create a hauntingly atmospheric feel that runs through the album, making it feel like the soundtrack to a modern day John Carpenter horror.
