Niviane have come up with a really solid heavy/power metal debut that falls short in making a better impression, literally at the cross hairs. Equally influenced by US and European peers of old and late, they have a great vocalist (Matt Barlow fans take note!), while they know how to setup decent-to-goose-bump-inducing arrangements that range from symphonic metal, to Judas Priest, to Iced Earth, to Edguy and so on.
