Better than new Deafheaven.
This album reminds me how cool it would be if an post-metal album genuinely sounded like chamber
rock music (such as Rachel's or Dirty Three) combined with Black metal. (no, not string section
then a blast-beat and twinkly guitar section) But most wouldn't be able to pull of the
juxtaposition or don't want to do anything too daring. This band comes close to that here, but
that achievement is ruined by the cliches found in most post-rock/metal.

Post-black/screamo. It's like a bleaker Envy but quite faster, with actual post-rock sections instead of just "twinkly guitars with slow drumming." Cool jams.
