4.5 superb | BenCee | December 8th 22 | Frantic, breathtaking math/grind metal that sounds like a mad fusion of Gridlink, TDEP, and Psyopus. The technical factor is extremely high but it's also quite melodic and even progressive in a lot of spots. For me this will be one of the most underrated gems in extreme metal. Tons of fun but with a large splash of danger.

3.5 great | zaruyache | May 7th 19 | Pretty ridiculous grindcore. Extremely short songs and very hectic pacing allows them to experiment with different forms of aggressive punk while still keeping the sense that this is supposed to be a "grind" album. The band throw around bleep bloopy technical death metal riffs and then slam back into -core blasting, all while the vocalist growls, snarls, screams, and squeals seemingly at random. The diversity and consistent pacing is what really holds "Untitled Album 1" together, similar to a Wormrot record--and Atka definitely maintain a similar sense of humor.

4.0 excellent | Voivod STAFF | October 26th 18 | Awesome album, its undisputed demeanor mashes together a handful of genres: grind, hardcore, black metal, noise rock and progressive metal; The level of musicianship per each player here is impeccable, and although the speed of execution is ridiculous, the album is amenable to repeated listening sessions. Grindcore/mathcore kids don't let this slip through the cracks! Stream: http://atkametal.bandcamp.com/album/untitled-album-1

3.4 great | Erwann S. STAFF | May 2nd 24 | Atka's formula of pounding grind, blistering mathcore, tech death musicianship, and piercing noise rock antics sure is fun, but it would benefit from some consistency.
