The title-track is a marvel, that enough is for certain, but the problems with N.W.A. began to be a bit more exacerbated after Ice Cube left the group. This is mainly due to the notion that at that time, aside from Dre, Cube was the only guy in the group that could flow consistently. He'd get better later on, but Eazy-E's flow is remarkably inconsistent. On certain songs he's quite good, but on other songs it's almost comically clumsy. MC Ren fares a little better, but not by much. Dre is truly the star of the show here, with his proto G-funk production dominating the EP and turning in the tightest verses on the record as well. It's a nice precursor to Niggaz4life, but it ultimately pales in comparison both to that record and to its predecessor. But that title-track though man, that's some legendary stuff.
