Nice soundscape music, but I would rather listen to Phaedra once again. It's quite inoffensive.

Legitimately really enjoy this album. Would put it among Hammock and Winged Victory as pleasant instrumental albums to read a book to. It's not thrilling but it's not doing anything wrong in my books really.

I get some serious Vangelis vibes at times and it sort of makes me wish he'd done the soundtrack for Blade Runner 2049. While not as enthralling as his standard releases (read: those with lyrics), there are some excellent soundscapes to get lost in. Hell Riders and Temple of Sorrow are standouts. The middle of the album feels a little samey at times, but it's great music to put on while you're working on something else or just want to get lost in thought.

M83 started out rather well with a story that evolved, main instruments that varied, a sequence that immersed you in the universe. However, as soon as I was halfway through, I had the impression that I was drowned in this wind instrument, as if this album had been transformed into an animated Soji or one of these some of these unfavorable fairy tales. I ended up bored and finding the time long. This is not for me. r
