Despite being a debut album, Blood Feast is a proficient release in technical terms (sound work, album art etc.). However, there's little to remember from the album overall, and the only culprit is the song writing, namely the lack of variety in guitar riffs and tempos song/album-wise. In releases to come, The Devil's Rejects should compell themselves to become more inventive, resourceful and observant per the elements and mood they want to incorporate, when they compose music.
