Very well-performed euro-power metal which is driven by catchy guitar riffs and vocals that are, pleasantly, not over the top. There is an emphasis on melody, while the lack of keyboards gives the album a nice old-school vibe. The epic/heroic atmosphere is definitely a plus as well as the few moments where the songwriting goes down a more neoclassical path that may bring to mind Yngwie Malmsteen.
