'Silhouettes' is a bouncy, infectious opener with lovely vocals from Breanne. None of the other songs quite reach its level, but the closer is pretty nonetheless. With only five songs, the 3.5 is really just a rating on that great first track. There's a lot of potential here.

This isn't that bad, but it really isn't that good, either. The beats never stray too far from what Adam Young is best at, but I do prefer them to the ones that are found on Ocean Eyes. The lyrics aren't as laughably bad as they are on Adam Young's songs, but that's not saying much. Overall, it really isn't much different than Ocean Eyes. It's a collection of stupidly bright and overly cheery songs with decent beats and dumb lyrics. However, the beats and lyrics are a little better than Adam Young's previous efforts, but they're still not great. I wouldn't suggest listening to this unless you really like Owl City.

If you don't dig what Adam Young is about, you won't dig this either. If you get his wonderful introverted,
internal world of airplanes, oceans, skyscrapers and love, then you will adore this album. Adam Young's music
is about more than music. It's about a mindset, introspection and finding joy within when none can be found
without.
Furthermore, if anyone would like to tell me that Silhouettes and Everything's a Miracle couldn't be played at
any good electronica concert to rave (no pun intended) crowds jumping for joy, I'll gladly argue with you!

If you're a big of Owl City, you will absolutely enjoy this 5 song collection of sugary electronica joy.

It's good for their first real album, and
this is just a very 'cute' band in general.
Although one of the band members, Adam Young, branched off on his own solo project, Owl City, I still love this little band.
To be honest, I prefer Swimming With Dolphins over Owl City. Don't get me wrong, I love Owl City, but there's just something about this down-to-Earth band that draws my attention and respect more.
At first, i just had a pretty decent opinion of this band, but the more and more I listened to them, the more and more I liked it. It's definitely an acquired taste, but this is a band you should be checking out if you enjoy Owl City, that's for sure.
