I can tell he's trying to do something new, but there's absolutely nothing compelling about any of the songs on this thing. Just so "meh".

Hadn't even known that this was coming out, but was quite pleasantly surprised when I saw this pop up in my Apple Music feed and gave it a spin. Maybe it's because of how I've been finding myself listening to music lately - i.e. a lot more frequently over speakers, in the background during extended marathon work sessions versus much more intently with headphones on - but I enjoyed this album enough to bump it from 3 to 3.5.rIt's not "OK Computer" obviously, but it's not trying to be either...and I'm cool with that.
