1.0 awful | Gene Gol-Jonsson CONTRIBUTOR | October 1st 21 | Above and beyond the most one-dimensional and toothless singer-songwriter album this year. Radin's strengths are at most in his lyricism at times, but his attempts to sound sophisticated nearly always end up sounding vapid. With each song sounding quite exactly the same, each instrumental idea and progression being beyond unremarkable and his vocals so breathy they scrape my ear drums. This truly has the quality akin only to a nail scratch on a chalkboard or a "cool" priest at a Midwest elementary school.
