2.5 average | TRMshadow | May 30th 12 | Almost as hard to digest as the original..... which is still pretty hard. As "Tom" below agrees, it's not that it's particularly 'good' or 'bad', it just 'is.' The real difference between the two "Rabbit"s is purely aesthetic... if you harbor a sever intolerance for electronica you'll probably lean towards this; if you can actually stand bleeps and bloops, the other one is the album for you. When it comes down to me though, I refuse to join either party and simply refuse to believe there was anything before "Michigan." 2.7/5

3.5 great | Thomas S. | October 5th 09 | Most of us who hail Sufjan Stevens as our indie god tend to ignore the existence of Enjoy Your Rabbit. It isn't that the record is bad on any accounts - who really knows what consists of a good electronica album anyway? - but more the fact that it's such a glaring inconsistancy in the king's acclaimed discography. There's no doubt that Stevens' newest output, Run Rabbit Run, will be suprising in two respects: firstly, that it shows it's actually possible to rearrange the sterile bleeps and bloops of the original songs into a piece that can be played by a four-piece orchestra, and secondly, that it actually sounds good.
