3.5 great | GamamJ | October 3rd 20 | A huge change in sound and wonderful album. Zenk?s addition proves very influential as his neoclassical soloing and funky riffs are the basis of Sieges? new sound.

5.0 classic | Casavir | August 29th 18 | Probably Sieges Even's best album as well as their most influential release. The album bands like Protest the Hero have as their best-kept secret.

4.0 excellent | Rwolf1 | March 25th 16 | Good album, it's not their best, but you can hear how much the band change their sound. Pretty fun album that you want to hear more than once.

4.0 excellent | AnEpicDeath | September 2nd 12 | Easily Sieges Even's fastest album and most metallic album post-Steps. Sieges Even underwent
significant lineup changes between A Sense of Change and Sophisticated, which resulted in an
enormous change in the band's overall sound. New guitarist Wolfgang Zenk replaces the Rush-
influenced, mid-tempo soundscapes of his predecessor with a funky, sometimes angular, always
highly technical and high tempo style of his own, and the rest of the band accelerates to
keep up. Drummer Alex Holzwarth gives a busy, double bass-laden performance on this album,
while bassist Oliver Holzwarth either underscores or mirrors most of the guitar lines. Also
of note is the introduction of vocalist Greg Keller, who gives a more aggressive, theatrical
delivery than either the immediately preceding and following singers in SE's history.
