Only the crunchiest of fusions between black metal and hardcore. I love this new (been new for like 15 years or so) wave of blackcore crustiness, has all the heaviest and gnarliest bits of their -core counterparts without the busy chug-chug testosteroneness, and the atmospheric theatrics of the black metal of it all without the pathos. Therein lies Demersal, as nasty as it gets.
