Cremation Pyre picks up from where the EP concluded, albeit with a couple of differences; firstly, the sound work, while still fitting for death/doom metal, it is much much cleaner. Second, herein Phenocryst are heavily drawn to Bolt Thrower (sans the grindcore elements), but unlike the EP, the song writing diversity is almost non-existent.
