3.0 good | LeakingFountain11 | February 3rd 25 | Ethereal and well-detailed, but unfortunately not very engaging to me. I guess I have to give up and admit that this kind of chill atmosphere-focused work is the band's "default sound" while Shiny Eyed Babies and You Know What They Mean were the exceptions, but damn do I keep wanting them to go back insanely hard rocking once more especially since Courtney is still one of the best vocalists ever.

3.0 good | Gene Gol STAFF | September 11th 24 | Bent Knee kick back after the odd and ill-inspired 'Frosting' with something more typical of their character, but not without its occasional pop excursions. The result is an uneven album that does show plenty of fan-expected mathy pop-rock, but also has just a notch too many plain pop-rock moments to really leave a satisfying aftertaste.

3.5 great | ajcollins15 | September 5th 24 | I?m glad to see that Bent Knee has gone back to their more art rock and experimental side than whatever they were trying on their last album. Courtney continues to sound amazing over the progressive and artful rock instrumentals. Everyone else is playing well as well. My biggest issue here is the back half is nowhere near as good as the front half.
