3.5 great | ajcollins15 | September 20th 24 | No where near as exciting and explorative as his last EP ?Nisemono? from two years ago. But Ginger Roots newest album here is still an encompassing and entertaining listen from front to back. Cameron Lew really knows what his style and sound is at this point and he is putting that on full display here. The fusions of bedroom pop and many different style of eastern pop music just makes for a fun and jamming listen. But the album has a hard time staying exactly honed-in in its ideas. There are many times when Cameron just strays away and does some questionable things like with all the vocoder stuff or the lack of vocals where there seems there should be.

3.5 great | Gene Gol CONTRIBUTOR | September 16th 24 | The absolute pinnacle of cute music with all-engulfing warm blankety production and instrumental licks. Just count how any different mixing tricks Ginger Root pulls off to cover the weak vocals.
