4.5 superb | brutebeard | September 14th 10 | The most creative sound i have heard in aggressive music ever. Not sure where these guys pulled this fusion out of. Incredibly experimental; heavily intriguing. Native ancestry summoning spirits of various atmospheres. Is that Canninus barking in the background? Who cares, this better be appreciated and even enjoyed.

0.0 | Bitchfork | May 2nd 10 | Fusing flute-made atmospherics with experimental black metal, this folksy album has Asian-tinge and clasutrophobic textures down pat.

5.0 classic | Plutonio | March 21st 10 | Quest For Blood, a nearly unclassifiable metal band with black metal, neoclassical, and noise roots, has released a masterpeice. Toying with density, all things vanguard, some extremely wtf flute skills and creating a new genre altogether, Quest for Blood with Yukihiro Isso is one of the best metal albums to be released in the past couple thousand decades.

5.0 classic | JeremyIrons16 | October 18th 21 | Extremely unique, avant-garde fusion of heavy metal, neoclassical and jazz elements with archaic flute noises dazzling
the very instruments that build “quest for blood” and production that make it sound almost an entirely distinct genre on
its own. A masterpiece for what it is, even if its a hidden gem within other albums that bury it
