0.0 | puntugruhm | April 10th 15 | an eerily beautiful work by Morton Feldman. One of the most consistent composers of the 20th century, Feldman
experimented with minimalism using strings as well as drones to create dark atmospheres and one hell of a
coherent composition. gorgeous in every way possible, the album slowly eases you into a black void of
surrealistic despair. Feldman uses different intonations to make the journey go from bleak and dissonant and to
end on more of a prettier note. It's like a pilgrimage through a cold, dark mountain, and you arrive at your
destination at the end. this is easily my favorite work of music, and is a milestone in classical as well.
