This album is a strange mix of a Cockney Knees Up and psychedelic fantasy. The first side contains mostly Cockney numbers, however the first song (the title track) is a great psychedelic instrumental, 'Rene' and 'Lazy Sunday' are sing a long numbers that initally appear annoying but turn out to be too catchy to ignore. The 2nd side tells the story of 'Happiness Stan' a surreal story steeped with strange imagery. Although, the album is very light hearted, 'Mad John' is a dark tale of an outsider not fitting in. The last track returns to the optomistic tone ('Happy Days Toy Town'). The album doesn't quite live up to American psychedelia but is still an interesting concept.

Songs are exceptional, feels like the moody blues got kidnapped by a cockney gang. Not huge on the narration but it?s a strong concept if you choose to view it that way

A great cautionary tale for popular musicians. Don't tack on a novelty concept to your stuff, it doesn't age well. However, if you are into all things cockney, this may appeal to you.
