Guruh Gipsy was an Indonesian psychedelic rock group formed in the 70s. rThe self-titled album combined ethnic music of Bali based on pentatonic notes and western music which is based on diatonic notes. The album's level of complexity made the band required 16 months of recording time. It reflect the best harmony that blended symphonic progressive rock with Bali tradional gamelan music.
