3.5 great | GamamJ | June 4th 20 | Goddamn. Chopin showing off his chops, and I love it. Might not be very great compositionally, but there is variation, and mindblowing playing all over this. No. 3 is even a slower more Chopin like romantic piece.

3.5 great | I Am Saruman, The Multicoloured | April 22nd 17 | It's hard to expect more than exacerbated technical demonstrations from Etudes, given the exercise's nature. However Chopin manages to deliver interesting, complex piano compositions emphasizing on how skilled of a pianist he was. Some of those can even compare to Chopin's major works, such as the third etude, Tristesse. Overall an interesting take on a generally frantic and sterile exercise.

3.5 great | TRMshadow | July 12th 11 | If all the pieces of this set were like no. 12 it'd be a different story... but the truth is that this is a chore to listen to barring its finale. Honestly I recommend skipping through the first eleven pieces and then setting No. 12 on repeat. 3.4/5
