From a first glance, Live at La Cigale is an enjoyable live performance that serves as a time capsule from the Meds tour. However, with a shortened tracklist and a heavy edited production, there aren't any of the features that make Placebo's concerts unique. Anyone who has actually attended their concerts will tell you that there are hundreds of better performances where they put on a better show than this.
