Blending of Thrash, Black Metal & Death Metal. Heavy, with harmonized riffs / lead work, lots of melody, & a very driving sound. This is a mid 90s proto Bodom in some ways! Immortal fans who enjoyed Sons of Northern Darkness, or those who enjoy Witchery, Destroyer 666 or even stuff by Vader should be able to enjoy this record. One of those rarer records where aggression & melody walk together without existing as separate elements. The track Godless really feels like a blackened version of a song that could have been on Death's Human album. The song Candles is pretty poor, and the album has some moments where it sags in quality.
