Nothing new here from Xiu Xiu, but they've become one of those if-it-ain't-broke-don't-fix-it bands who have cornered a very specific sound. If you liked their past work you'll enjoy this, if not, Always won't be changing your mind. "The Oldness" is a particularly good track though, which leads me to believe that more use of subtlety could become a way forward for this band.
