After releasing this demo, which was well received, it went quiet around Cephalic Carnage, and they had broken up. In 1996 Cephalic Carnage was reformed, by Lenzig and Zac, but this time they added new members to the band. John on drums, and Steve on 2nd guitar. This line-up seemed gave CC, just that extra breeze they needed, everything went well, and after two months(!) they released their second demo called: Fortuitous Oddity. After this second demo, the band gained a complete line-up by adding a bassist by the name of Doug Williams (of Origin). By touring with this line-up they caught the attention of the Italian Label: Headfucker records. On this label, they released their first full length called Conforming To AbnormalityThe album was very well received, but for unknown reasons Doug Williams left the band. At this time Jawsh was given bass duties as a tour member. With this line-up they toured like crazy in the States, and caught the attention of another label by the name of Relapse Records. Shortly after they released their first full length on Relapse Records, called Exploiting Dysfunction. Once more this album was well received and send the band on another series of tours. Back from touring a new alum was recorded again on Relapse Records called: Lucid Interval. The success story doesn't seem to end, after this well received record, another tour, Cephalic Carnage had gained themselves quite a reputation. Of course, after the tour, they recorded yet another album, their latest effort was released in 2005: Anomalies. They toured again to support this album. Tour Member Jawsh never got a chance to leave the band, and is now a full time member.http://cephaliccarnage.bandcamp.com/ « hide |
