What started as a small project in Buffalo, New York has evolved into a full band. Cute Is What We Aim For, known from coastto
coast for their unique style and passionate vocals, formed in January of 2005. After recording a series of demos in
theirhometown and New York City, the band signed to Fueled By Ramen Records and made plans to record their debut full-
lengthalbum with producer Matt Squire (Panic! At the Disco, Thrice, Northstar). They returned to the studio 2008 to record

coast for their unique style and passionate vocals, formed in January of 2005. After recording a series of demos in
theirhometown and New York City, the band signed to Fueled By Ramen Records and made plans to record their debut full-
lengthalbum with producer Matt Squire (Panic! At the Disco, Thrice, Northstar). They returned to the studio 2008 to record
theirsecond album "Rotation," which debuted at #21 on the Billboard chart. Eventually, after many complications with different
lineups, bassist Fred Cimato's heroin addiction, most of the band members left.
In early 2010, it was announced that the band will continue with frontman Shaant Hacikyan as the only original member
tocontinue. This was a way to segue him into a solo career. He recorded a free demo called "Harbor" and a cover of T.I. &
JustinTimberlake's single "Dead and Gone" for POP Goes Punk, Vol. 3.
As of mid-2012, recent news has that the band's original line-up played an acoustic set in their hometown. This has come
tospeculation that they have reunited for a comeback tour.
