Grimrik is the project of the
eponymousdrummer/keyboardist from the German
black metalband Arath.A veteran of the German
underground metal scene, hestarted releasing music as
Grimrik in 2014 to focus onelectronic dark atmospheric
compositions, similarly toother black metal artists' side-
projects but incorporatinglots of influences from outside
the dark genres, likeclassic '70s synthesizer music,
ambient and retro-synthmusic.
