This aspect of business made Bushuncomfortable and this, coupled with her dissatisfaction at what she felt was a rushed album, prompted Bush to make it the only tour of hercareer.Bush slowly began to withdraw from public life, taking more and more responsibility for her own output. Through the '80s, she developed aslow and painstaking approach to recording, only emerging from her private world for sporadic album releases, which became less and lesscommon throughout the late '80s and '90s.In November 2005, Bush released the double-CD Aerial, her first original album since 1993's The Red Shoes, peaking at #3 in theUK Album Charts. The first single from the album, "King of the Mountain," was released in September 2005 and peaked at #4 in the UKsingles charts. In 2011, she released her most recent studio album, 50 Words for Snow. « hide |
