Microphone Pager are a Japanese hip hop group that formed in 1992. In 1995, the group released their debut album, "Don't Turn Off Your Light",
which earned the group a cult position in the Japanese underground rap scene.However, the group seemed to have disintegrated by the late 1990's. In
2009, however, Microphone Pager seemed to havereignited activities, and, that year, the group released their second album, "Oudou Rakudo".
Currently, the group enjoys a highveteran cult status in the Japanese underground rap scene.
