Mind Eraser were an American progressive/technical thrash metal band formed in New Jersey in 1991. They released four demo tapes before disbanding in 1996. Vocalist Jeff Wood (of later Shat infamy) was childhood friends with a young Benjamin Weinmann (guitarist and founding member of The Dillinger Escape Plan) and claims their rehearsals have been an influence on TDEP's sound. Wood would tour with TDEP in the late 90s playing bass guitar.
