The Mystic Fugu Orchestra consists of John Zorn and Yamantaka Eye. They released one album, Zohar, inspired by historical recordings of ancient Judaica. A heavy layer of surface noise was overlaid on the music to represent the playing quality of a 78 rpm gramophone record to simulate the antiquity of those recordings.
