Red Bacteria Vacuum are an all-female hardcore punk band from Japan. RBV formed in 1998, and toured overseas numerous
times. They are a regularact at the Japan Nite festival, and have also opened up for the successful alternative band A Perfect
Circle. In late 2013, bassist Kassan left to spend time with her newly born child, thus putting Red Bacteria Vacuum on a hiatus.
The remaining members of RBV went on to form The Jungles.
