Red Velvet (Hangul: 레드벨벹) is a South Korean girl group formed by S.M. Entertainment. The group debuted on August 1, 2014, with the digitalsingle "Happiness." The group is composed of five members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri.Since their debut, Red Velvet has experienced notable success and recognition.
