Revocation is a 3.8 American extreme metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. The band was founded by guitarist and vocalist David Davidson,bassist and vocalist Anthony Buda and drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne in 2000. Originally known as Cryptic Warning, they changed their name toRevocation in 2006. The band released their first studio album, Empire of the Obscene, independently in 2008.
