One of the mostcritically respected prog bands around today, Riverside have achieved minor fame with 2004's Out Of Myself and 2005's Second Life Syndrome,both of which have garnered awards - notably a Best Debut award from Metal Hammer for Out Of Myself. After concluding their Reality Dreamtrilogy with 2007's Rapid Eye Movement, Riverside sought to change their sound a bit, which lead to the heavier Anno Domini High Definition,released in 2009. They continued this trend with 2013's Shrine of New Generation Slaves, focusing more on a song-oriented album as opposed toearlier, more concept-driven albums. On 2015's Love, Fear and the Time Machine the band changed their sound once again.
