Tag Team was a hip hop duo from Denver, Colorado. First formed in 1983 when the members were in high school, they would go on to have slight local success throughout the late 1980's. Their big break finally came in 1993 with the release of their "Whoomp! (There It Is)" single. It went on to be certified platinum over four times, although Tag Team failed to repeat this success and ended up disbanding by the end of 1995.
